LOW DEUCE FOR WOMEN
"Eight years ago, I took a weekend riding class in Daytona with my hubby, brother, and bestie and I haven’t looked back since!
I immediately was taken with the thrill of operating the bike myself and the joy & freedom of the open road. Since that time, I’ve expanded my riding circle from a few other couples to the discovery of dozens of female riders through an international female riding organization called Women in the Wind.
I’m proud to be a founding member of our regional chapter of WITW called The Iron Mermaids.
As a chapter we explore NE Florida, our state, and beyond on two wheels with monthly scheduled and impromptu rides and a few times a year we meet up with other WITW chapters at regional and national events. I’ve grown as a rider and my self-confidence soars with challenges I never saw myself doing such as a 1K2Day trip to the southernmost point in Key West!"
